Callum Miller said goodbye to Island cricket with his best performance ever with ball and bat. On a damp and slow wicket Callum came on to bowl when the score was on 53-2 off 14 . A double wicket over in his second over started the collapse,then another in the 4th, 5th, 6th and 8th, bringing his figures to 9-0-25-6. Cornwall finished on 169 in their innings. On the hottest day of the year the IWCB U15 team played Oxfordshire in the ECB County Cup. The Island won the toss and put Oxford in to bat first. G Cooper and M Millwood opened the bowling and restricted the opening partnership to 15 runs off the first 11 overs. K Thompson came on to bowl his spell of 9 overs in the 20th over to pick up 4 wickets, supported by some brilliant catching from B Tyler in slip and outfield by O Thompson.
