Grounds Assessment Scheme
|
As you will be aware the Isle of Wight Cricket Board are introducing a pitch assessment scheme for the 2010 season.
For the first season this will only be undertaken in Division 1 of the Island leagues and home county fixtures.
The scheme will make up one aspect of the Boards on going facility development plan, and hopefull will allow clubs to improve playing surfaces in the long run.

The Isle of Wight ACO is inviting applications for membership from umpires and scorers who wish to join the ECB Association of Cricket Officials.
Membership is open to all umpires and scorers including those outside England and Wales.

Officials ballot to combine with ECB
The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) is delighted to welcome the members of the Association of Cricket Umpires and Scorers (ACU&S) following the result of the ballot on their future.
